End of era: Yahoo! Messenger is shutting down in July

It was in the year 1999 when I got introduced to the world of Internet and my first email address was created on Yahoo! Mail which also got me access to the use of Yahoo! Messenger. It was the first instant messaging application in the world. Yahoo! Messenger was one of the much needed software in my computer. Though it was introduced to Yahoo! Memories with Yahoo both as an user and as an ex-employee

The company that has introduced internet to the world,Yahoo! has last night announced that Verizon to acquire Yahoo!’s operating business for about $4.8bn. Some of my memories with Yahoo! I still remember the warning from my teacher Dipti Masrani about how careful I should be while using chat rooms. From 2009 to 2012, I…

#GAAD – also celebrating my 10th year of accessibility life!

Hello everyone, Today is Global Accessibility Awareness Day and already a lot of energetic events including Inclusive Design Talks – #ID24 are happening across the world. Thanks to good friends, Jennison and Joe Devon who thought of creating such a platform to raise awareness in the community. Some of the events that I’m attending / participating are: Inclusive Design Talks…

It took about three months for me get the lab ready to be inaugurated and I have used that chance to not just coordinate to bring up the accessibility lab, but to educate several personnel about what…

My experience at Techshare India 2010

Techshare India 2010 was another unique experience and an excellent platform to network, learn and share!
