A child doesn’t know about hatred…

I was recently listening to an interview of His Holiness Shri. Dnyanraj Manik Prabhu, present Peethathipati of Shri. Manik Prabhu Samsthan which he has in conversation with a television channel in Sri Lanka. One example has touched me a lot where he spoke about how hatred is being spread. He has an example of a child. Yes, child doesn’t know hatred. Child loves everyone and everything. It’s we who teach them hatred. That’s absolutely true. It’s often we see that children are told about some one is not good, some place is not good or something doesn’t taste well. We…

It was the first instant messaging application in the world. Yahoo! Messenger was one of the much needed software in my computer. Though it was introduced to Yahoo! Mail, it was still fun using as a stand alone application. Yahoo! messenger was first to have chat rooms which I have used a lot and made a lot of new friends. Yahoo! Messenger was one…

Power of reading books: World book day

Yes, we are living in digital era today; but reading a printed book gives a unique pleasure. Advantage of reading a physical book is that we get memorised quickly. I have experienced that by reading a book of our choice will give us relaxation and best thing to get sleep. Yes, we can read books on computer or mobile device but that develops a bit of stress. Instead, if we prefer to read digitally, better to go for audio books. Some of the books I love reading are books that has history of a pilgrimage, history and teachings of saints,…

Observation with Service providers; they need us to sign a lot of documents; but they would not want to sign-up in writing

As we know, we need to sign-on several documents when we apply for any service or a transaction; but do we ever ask service provider anything in writing? Recently we have applied for broadband connection from ACT Fiber; they have visited home and got us signed on a few documents along photo copy of documents related to proof of address. We have also opted to pay for 6 months in advance. After a few days, we have got a call from their technical staff asking if they can come to install a junction box; also we need to provide them…

Belief matters; a story about why do Hindus believe in worshipping idols

This is a story that I have read in WhatsApp sent by someone and I agree. Even today there are a lot of people who thinks why do people worship Idols made out of stone while they claim God is everywhere. Same was the thought for a king who have asked the same to Swami Vivekananda. Here is his response. Swami: OK, King, I’ll try and show you practically… and turns to a servant and asks him to bring down Kings portrait that exist just above where King was sitting. Servant does the same. Then Swami asks him to spit…
