Greetings on the occasion of National Youth Day – birthday of Swami Vivekananda

You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.
-Swami Vivekananda

Absolutely true. Guru, parents or anyone can only guide a person to the right direction but it’s only responsibility of an individual to grab right knowledge, set right mindset and grab all possible opportunities to grow.

We read several books with an intention to grow our knowledge or learn new things; but what we also need to do is interpret what we are reading.

Starting today, we I’ll resume writing my interpretation of a few quotes of Swami Vivekananda.

Swami Vivekananda is certainly an inspiration to youth and we all have so many things to learn from him. He has rightly said there is no powerful tool to success than hardwork.

In 1984 the Government of India declared the day as the National Youth Day and since 1985 the event is celebrated in India every year.

Quote from Government of India’s communication on declaring Swami Vivekananda’s birthday as National Youth Day:

it was felt that the philosophy of Swamiji and the ideals for which he lived and worked could be a great source of inspiration for the Indian Youth.
