On 13th October, 2024, we had an opportunity to visit Vinayaka TempIt’s one of the historical temple. le at Kanipakam – a fantastic temple where we witness Shri. Vinayaka in the size of small idle but believes as a powerful temple. Thanks to our cousins Smt. Aishwarya and Sriram, it has been a pleasant drive in the morning and great Dharshan at the temple. One of our uncles is associated with the temple.
The Ganesh Temple more familiarly known as “Kanipakam Temple” or ‘Varasiddi Vinayaka Swamy Temple’, is located at Kanipakam about 12 Kms from Chittoor and about 70 Kms from Tirupathi. The idol is “Swayambu” meaning ‘Self Manifested
Then we have visited ArdhaGiri Anjaneyaswami temple which is located just about 7 KMs away. It’s believed that while Shri. Anjaneywa Swami was bringing Sanjeevani Hill to treat Shri. Lakshmana Swami, a piece of the hall fallen at this location hence it’s called Arakonda or ArdhaGiri (half moutain). Here we would witness several monkeys but don’t harm anyone.
Ardhagiri is a hill where Hanuman temple is located. The hill is situated in Aragonda village of Chittoor district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
While visiting Tirupathi or Bangalore next time, be sure to visit these places.
