With successful 5 years of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, this year it will be marked on May 18th. Objective of Global Accessibility Awareness Day is to raise awareness among community to as much as we can. It need not be in a big way but it is measured in the form of impact created.
In words of Joe and Jennison (Founders of GAAD), what GAAD means to them:
The purpose of GAAD is to get everyone talking, thinking and learning about digital (web, software, mobile, etc.) access/inclusion and people with different disabilities.
There are several events happening around the world including a couple of virtual events. Here are the list of events happening in India:
