On engagement day 8th May, 2011Hema and I completes 5 years of togetherness today. It has been so far a memorable of course with a few difference of opinions which is quite common between two people who come from different backgrounds. To be fair, Hema have put in great efforts to understand our family and adopted right way living.
It was in 2010 where Hema and I got connected through Shaadi – a matrimonial portal (Thanks to Shwetha, who created Hema’s profile) and both families met through my uncle Shri. Marthanda Sharma. Around the same time, Yahoo! (then my work place), have received NCPEDP – Mphasis Universal Design Award (PEF) for the year 2010 for outstanding work in the area of digital accessibility.
We had to wait for almost a year to get married with an unfortunate incident happened in my life in 2007 (refer to my post titled “Marriage for a person with low vision, my personal story in 2010) and we got united on June 24, 2011Viewing Arundathi Star along with darling Hema on 24th June, 2011On 30th June, 2011, we have hosted our receiption in Bangalore and it’s overwhelming to have all our friends and special thanks Seema bhabhi and Sumit bhai who came all over from Mumbai. Soon after, we have visited Tirupathi and surrounding places and got a pleasant darshan and blessings. That began our journey of family life. Some memories (we have many) during this 5 years includes our trip to Pune which actually intended for visiting Shirdi and had to end trip at Pune itself (We cannot visit Shirdi without a call from Shirdi Sai Baba), a week long trip to Dubai (Thanks to Raga Murthy for great hospitality), Trips to Delhi, Agra, Shirdi, Arunachalam, Trivendrum, Kanyakumari, Raichur, Nagapur, Pandaripur, Shirdi, Sajjangadh, Mysore, Srirangam.

In 2012 I lost my job at Yahoo!, that resulted us to relocate to Chennai to join PayPal, Hema lost both her grand father (father’s father) in June and grand mother (mother’s mother) in December.
In 2013, we had another great trip to Delhi on account of me receiving NCPEDP Mphasis Univeral Design Award.
During Godha Kalyanam at ShirdiWe lived in Chennai for about 10 months and in 2013 relocated back to Bangalore. In December 2013, with almighty’s grace and blessings of our Guruji, we were blessed with our little darling Khushi Varshini. She has fortunate enough to visit Shirdi within about a month of her age and even marked her 2nd birthday (2015) in Shirdi.
Earlier this year, we lost my grand mother (father’s mother) at her age of 98. May her soul be rest in peace.
We have plenty of memories to cherish with and thank you dear Hema for being part of my life. Love you always. This year is going to be yet exciting for us as we are expecting sibling of Varshi in about a month and half from now. Do bless us for the best.
Last year when we met Brahmashri. Malladi Chandrasekhara Sastry garu (a wealth of knowledge) and got his blessings, we have felt very blissful.
