Smt. Suramma Chakravarthula, was a person who cares, loves, a passionate individual for Carnatic Classical Music, used to read literature like Bhagavatam etc., though she was not able to write, watch movies of her time. She born approximately on 12th October, 1919 and passed away on 2nd February, 2016. Read Our blog entry

Parents

My father Shri. Ramakrishna Parama Hamsa is a retired Ayurvedic practitioner. He has tremendous knowledge in Carnatic Classical Music! My mother is a house-wife.

Wife and Children

Along with wife Hemalatha and Children Sai Shikhar and Khushi Varshini – Dated: 18th July, 2017 on the occasion of our Son’s first birthday

Got married to Hemalatha Chakravarthula on 24th June, 2011. She is a commerce graduate and belongs to Tanuku, West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. She has one sister Chi. Deepthi Tadimati. We found each other on Shadi Centre.

With blessings of Shri.Shridi Sai Baba and our Guruji, we are blessed with Chi. Khushi Varshini on 6th December, 2013. as of writing (on 18th June, 2016), she has visited several places including Shirdi, Tirupathi, Mumbai, Pandaripur, Sajjanghad, etc.,

On 29th July, 2016, we were blessed with Chi. Sai Shikhar. At his age of 7 months, he has visited Shirdi and Tirupathi.

Brothers & their family

My elder brother Shri. Srinivasa Sathya Subrahmanyam (Phani) is an Architect and Engineer; He loves old Telugu songs and Carnatic Classical Music and has a huge collection of audio.

Mrs. Satya Surya Naga Jyothi is my sister-in-law, she is grand daughter of Shri. Nagabhatla Venu Gopalam based in Komarigiri.

They were blessed with two sons Chi. Ram Kaushik in 2008 and Chi. Vishwanath Prabhakar in 2010.

Lives in Hayatnagar, Hyderabad.

My younger brother Chi. Vinayaka Sarma is a vydic priest in the USA. Runs independent consulting services in the area of spirituality. In February 2017, he got married to Chi. Sow. Taruni of Gunturu.

Goal is to propagate and provide rich and inclusive web experience and create an accessible world!

Currently I lead Accessibility efforts at Informatica, Earlier I was a Sr. Subject Matter Experts at Deque.

Prior to Deque, I was leading Accessibility efforts at HCL Technologies. My role includes mentoring team, working on innovative solutions, spread the word, engage with customers on accessibility etc., Before this, I was with PayPal leading Accessibility QA. My work includes develop and maintain Accessibility Automation Tools, Accessibility Evaluation of various products, Evangelize Accessibility across the company, provide end-to-end Accessibility solutions to product teams, represent company for accessibility related initiatives in the industry.

Prior to join PayPal, I was working for the award-winning Accessibility team at Yahoo! India Research & Development; where I have played instrumental role in setting up an Accessibility Lab and drive accessibility initiatives. Besides offering services to our office in India, I was also supporting to Yahoo! offices in Jordon, Singapore, China etc.

I am also on the National Advisory Board of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) India – through which, I endeavor to create awareness about standardization and accessibility across the country. Plus, I am also member of NASSCOM Disability Working Committee to create awareness about accessibility among other IT companies. I also offer expertise to the National Association for the Blind Karnataka Branch through its Governing Council.

In November, 2005 – I joined Net Systems Informatics (India) Pvt. Ltd as an Accessibility Tester. I was responsible to test websites as per Section 508 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 1.0.

In addition, I was responsible to sell Accessibility workshops (for Section 508, WCAG 1.0, Creating Accessible e-Learning using Flash) organized by the company. Further to create awareness among Government sector about […]
