Update: GST on Disability related aids and appliances – still need some rollback

Due to energetic and continued efforts put in by disability activists and others across the country, there has been some progress. Here is a quick updated shared by Mr. Javed Abidi of NCPEDP. Government of India is almost set to roll out Goods and Services Tax. Goods and Services Tax (GST) is an indirect tax throughout India to replace taxes levied by the central and state governments. It was introduced as The Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty Second Amendment) Act 2017, following the passage of Constitution 122nd Amendment Bill. 6 years of togetherness

Ah, time has been flying too fast, this is our 6th anniversary. During last one year, we have seen arrival of our adorable son Sai Shikhar, passing away of my grand father and marriage of my younger brother Chi. Vinayaka Sarma. Now our daughter has started going to school. It has been wonderful 6 years though there are obstacles came and gone, Hema has been a darling and I’m grateful to His Holiness Shir. Sai baba for having blessed with me such sweet wife. Love you darling for ever.

Recent experience in obtaining passport for our daughter

As advertised by the Government, Passport services have been improved to great extent. Recently we have obtained passport for our daughter and experience is quite good. We have filled in application form online Passport portal. Scheduled the appointment (dates are just available; we got it for very next day). Printed application form and fee receipt. Since our daughter is minor, we have signed on all forms and address proof which is our passports, copies of our daughter’s birth certificate. As a safe side, we have also included her her Aadhar card. One tip to get work done at Passport office…
