Last year when we met Brahmashri. Malladi Chandrasekhara Sastry garu (a wealth of knowledge) and got his blessings, we have felt very blissful. That’s when we have also thought we should go to Chennai and seek blessings of Dr. Mangalampalli Balamurali Krishna, The expert of classical music. It’s saddened that we have missed this auspicious and divine opportunity to seek his blessings with his sudden demise earlier this afternoon at his residence in Chennai. This morning update and thoughts on bank, citizens and restuarents

A while ago, I was walking in our area and as expected, there are huge queues to exchange / deposit / draw money from banks. We have 4 banks on Kaggadasapura Main road (SBI, Andhra Bank, Canara Bank and Karnataka Bank) and situation is same at all banks. At the same time, I saw 3 ATMs out of service (not sure about others). I think banks should ensure ATMs are functional so that some people will utilise them for their immediate needs. I’m excited that my submission titled “Accessibility Strategy for Existing, on-going and future digital products” has been accepted to present at 32nd CSUN Assistive Technology Conference to be held during March, 2017 at San Diego, USA. Though I am not yet sure if I would be ravelling for this conference due to budget limitations. Finally elections for The National Association for the Blind, Karnataka Branch were held on 6th November, 2016 and team led by Alok Kshirsagar has won the elections with huge support of members.
