Thank you 2013 for making us the happiest – a look back!

Disclaimer: This post would get updated later in a few days with more details.

Year started with all excitement and heat at Chennai plus with a lot of travel! On Bhoghi festival day, we have visited Shri. Padmanabha Swamy Temple at Trivendrum; wow, that is a historical place and we were told having Darshan on Bhoghi festival day is very auspicious. Then spent a day at Kochi attending an event organized by Society for Rehabilitation of the Visually Challenged; it was good to meet Asif, Kanchan, M C Roy, Sunil and several other old friends plus made some new friends.

In February we went to visit Arunachalam passing on an invite on behalf of our Guruji to His Holiness Shri. Ramana Maharshi to upcoming Shri. Rama Navami Utsav. Had a pleasant darshan.

March, visited Hyderabad to participate in Shri. Rama Navami Utsav and it was so blissful. Thank you Guruji.

Beginning of May, we have relocated back to Bangalore with a great news that Hema was carrying! Thank you neighbours and Venkat, Dr. Prema of Chattinadu Hospitals. Our excitement has begun!

On 9th May, at my day job (PayPal), we have hosted Global Accessibility Awareness Day for both employees and outsiders. Also helped Centre for Internet and Society to host an event in Bangalore. All events are huge success.

Then onwards we have been going to regular check-ups for Hema including scannings etc., Thanks to Nirmala akka for introducing us to great doctor Dr. Gayathri Karthik.

Took part in a few panel discussions organized by NASSCOM Foundation

Am back on the board of The National Association for the Blind, Karnataka Branch as Hon. Joint Secretary. A lot of progress including transition to modern initiatives plus several partnerships are in progress.

Worked on a few projects including KickStart Cabs and a few others. Wrote several articles on SG Accessibility portal.

A lot of projects and innovations took place at my day job and it is always pleasure to work with everyone at PayPal.

For the first time, Hema and I (along with Kameshwari) did shopping for Diwali on our own and celebrated with a lot of fun.

Towards November, my grand mother who is about 98 years was not keeping well, but now she is OK. We wish her a good health and a lot of love.

Yes, December is undoubtedly a month of joy and I almost had a month long vacation busy welcoming our very own little angel! Once again, welcome darling! Love you Hema!! Thaks to everyone who sent us their wishes, pranams to Shri. Guruji, Thanks to doctors and support staff.

Looking forward to a funfilling and successful years to come! and yes, wishing you all a very happy, healthy, prosperous and accessible 2014!

Cheers,
HemaVasu with our little angel
